Ghost Master Pc Game Guide: The Blair Wisp Project


As far as assignments go, this can either be a cakewalk or a living hell. There are three spirits here to free, including the Darkling.

First you should free the Blair Wisp. That is very easy. You just need enough wind on the island in the centre to clear the green fog. Weatherwitch and Aether can do this easily with the Gusts and Gather Winds powers used together.

Once the green fog is clear you can bench these two and have Blair Wisp use Hypnotic Image to attract the mortals over. No need to worry further here. As soon as they set foot on the island they see Blair Wisp and the spirit is free.

Bind Banzai near the tree by the canyon and have him use Quake to knock down the tree forming a bridge across the canyon to the cabin.

Sparkle is stuck in a campfire. To free Sparkle, simply have Harriet use her Ethereal Gift power near the campfire, then bench her. Bind Firetail to the gift and use his Bonfire power. That should free Sparkle right there.

Now while it is possible to take along and rather tormenting route of freezing the river and leading them along to get them to the cabin, there is a much easier way.

There are two bear traps up and to the right from the campfire. Use Terroreyes and his Fascinate power to lure all three into the immediate area. Then bind Fingers to the nearby bear trap and have him use Unearthly Calm.

Bench them all, but keep your fingers ready. Have the Darkling use Obsession immediately. Set Blairwhisp and Blue Murder on standby on the bear trap behind the cabin and the moose head in the cabin. The objective is to lure them straight across the lake, past where the wisp was found. You will likely need to use a second Unearthly Calm near the fallen tree.

As soon as you get them across the canyon and can use the Darkling’s Obsession power again, bench everyone else and have the Darkling use the Obsession power. This will draw them straight down to the basement. They will start the ritual shortly afterwards.

By using the above technique, you should be able to complete this assignment in the fastest time possible and get the largest bonus multiplier. This not only looks good on your Ghost Master resume, but also gives you a ton of gold plasm.

Summary: Mortals can’t cross the island unless they are protected by Unearthly Calm and crossing the island is the fastest way to complete this assignment.
