As a first assignment for Act 2, this one is actually quite simple. The objective is to make the Don believe in ghosts. But you’ll want to free the various restless spirits before you turn the Don into a believer.

The first restless spirit to attend to is Knuckles. He is stuck to the roulette table and can only be freed if someone wins. To do this, simply bind Lucky to the roulette wheel and have him use only Luck Storm. That will ensure someone wins.

Next on the restless spirit list is Wavemaster. This one is very easy to free as well. Have Boo use Rattle Chains in the same room. When mortals enter, have Raindancer use either Rain or Flood. That will cause the mortals to go and turn on the bilge pump, freeing Wavemaster.

To free Flash Jordan, all you need to do is break that vase that she is stuck to. Having Wavemaster use Hailstones is very useful here, and almost always frees Flash Jordan in the first few moments.

The last spirit to free is Fingers, and while this can be a bit annoying, he is critical in a future assignment. The Cook is the key to his freedom. You can have Boo use Fool’s Errand. It shouldn’t take too many tries before he wanders into the room whistling the tune that frees Fingers.

As for making the Don believe, that’s not hard in the least. Haunted Hail is a good power to use against him, as his belief will constantly go up while he is in the room with this power. Having one of your haunters Possess the Don also helps raise the belief level. As long as you hold Possession it will continue to climb.

I have however noticed that using the Possession method on the Don is slower than having Fingers use Unearthly Calm on a regular basis and hammering on the Don with everything you've got.

If you find yourself short on plasm, there are a lot of people on this ship that you can scare the pants off. Just don’t scare away the Cook until Fingers is free.

Summary: Freeing all of the restless spirits is actually quite easy in this assignment. At least one of them is critical to future assignments. Also remember that your score as a Ghost Master is powerfully affected by freeing restless spirits. This is one of the more amusing levels in the game.
