Ok, this one is tough. You’ll earn your place as a Ghost Master with this assignment. Wards and alarms protect almost the entire building and the Ghostbreakers react with alarming speed. Well, at least until you scare them a good bit. Then they aren’t really that much trouble.

While you can knock out the alarm with a Quake, the problem is that you will also destroy many electrical Fetters in the building. That’s not such a good plan.

However, if you have Hogwash and Stromtallon you can fire off a Blackout and then hit the ward and alarm on the main floor with a Surge. If one of your haunters gets into trouble inside a ward, shut down their powers and move them to another Fetter in the same color ward. That will get them off your back fast.

To knock out the ESD, you will need to use an Etheral Gift or a Trojan Gift. If you do this before you terrorize too much, then you will have much better luck. Windwalker is trapped in one of the cells and can only be freed by destroying the ESD.

A simple Surge in any room that has Ghostbreaker equipment will fry everything in there if you let the Surge take its course. Of course, you can always keep a tight watch and pull your haunter out the moment the equipment goes down, if you want to avoid the possibility of getting one of your haunters banished.

After clearning out the alarms and the wards, it’s not difficult to clear this level. Just remember to use a hit-and-run approach against the Ghostbreakers until you have them fairly well scared. Once you give them a good scare they are almost no threat at all.

Summary: The wards and alarms present a real threat, but can very easily be overcome by using Blackout and Etheral Gift.
