So, this is the final final battle. And it’s not easy. Oh, if you really want to stand a chance I would advise you not to scare anyone off until you’ve fried the Ether Bomb. If you scare too many people off then they will bring out their secret weapon... the Stay Cold Ice Cream Man.

Stay Cold can easily and quickly banish your ghosts, especially outdoors. Once you destroy the Ether bomb they will still deploy Stay Cold, but at least you won’t be trying to move your ghosts around on Trojan Gifts at the same time.

The easiest way to complete this assignment is to drop a Trojan Gift at the bottom of the stairs leading to the top level. These stairs are outside. Either Wisakejak or Harriet can put a gift there. Send in Hogwash, and, if possible, another ghost with Surge.

Remember, once Stay Cold is on the scene you can forget about using ghosts outdoors. Tricia, however, is a very helpful spirit once you wipe out the yellow ward, which should be one of your first goals. Then just bind her in a bathroom to produce Gifts.

As a way to help you get your ghosts into the top level, try the following. Drop a gift at the bottom of the stairs outside and load it up. Then have the Darkling based in the entry hall use Obsession. As soon as the guy from the centre room comes down the stairs, cut the Obsession.

He almost always returns straight into the red ward by the bomb. This way you can take down the red ward and possibly the yellow in one sneak attack using two haunters.

Summary: Stay Cold will come no matter what. Just don’t leave any haunter anywhere for long or you’ll find them banished so fast it will make your head spin. Ethereal and Trojan Gifts are your only way to take out the yellow and red wards. The green and blue keep getting fixed and can be a real pain.
